Recommended frequency of monitoring (all species) – every 3 months

Samples required:

    •  Plucked hair
    •  Faeces
    •  Ear swab
    •  Oro-pharyngeal swab
    •  Serum or blood

Specific tests

Note: Primate serology is out-sourced to a laboratory in the Netherlands. This means that there will be a courier charge for each shipment of samples, which will be split amongst all submitting Clients. To reduce courier costs all samples will be collected and sent once a week on a Monday or Tuesday. The courier cost for 2010 is £48.00.
